Subject: Domain Shield - Support for Recommendation 1A

To the Industry Advisory Panel,
 
As the most recently accredited .au Registrar, I would like to support the panel’s “Draft Recommendation 1A” 
in response to, “Issue 1. The method of 2LD registry operator selection/appointment post-2014”.
 
My direct interaction with the currently appointed Registry, AusRegistry, is presently limited to my 
experience during the recent accreditation and on-ramping process of my Registrar, Domain Shield. The 
process was efficient, communications were accurate and timely, and the service standards exceeded my 
expectations.

I welcome the initiative to enter into renegotiations with AusRegistry to extend contractual arrangements, 
and suggest a 4-year extension is in the best interests of all industry stakeholders.
